A perfect, beautiful way to keep your wine chilled throughout the evening. The high fired stoneware keeps very cool for a long period of time, making ice not necessary.
You can chill the cooler by either placing it in the freezer about an hour prior to use or filling with ice and water about 15 min prior to use. Either will chill up the stoneware enough to last the evening. Each chiller is hand thrown with the highest quality clay and glazes ensuring a piece to hold up to continual use.
As for the Utensil Holder........ Well, it works perfectly for that, and looks beautiful out on your counter.
The Rainbow Trout glaze combination brings together all shades of green, reflecting an array of dimensions within the color spectrum. The over-glaze pours across the forest green surface, portraying a lighter green metallic finish. A network of fine crackling can be seen on the top portion of this heavily glassed glaze, this occurrence is called crazing and only adds to the character and depth to the already intricate glaze. Also as you look closer you can see the crystal growth that also occurs with this glaze.
Dimensions: 7 1/2" Outside handle to handle/ 7" Tall/ 5" Inner Diameter.
