AVIOR pottery line began in 2001 with a desire to hit the show trail with a unique line of stoneware pottery. My focus was to approach the pottery market with a line that had a classic feel amidst a hand thrown touch. In 2009 after many years of extensive real life market testing, the AVIOR line went through some refinement and was re-released. The response has been amazing. The philosophy is simple; produce high quality stoneware with the highest quality materials yielding a classical, refined look. The actual production work is carried out and managed by myself, Michael Fillus Sherman along with much help by my family. I have been doing full time pottery production and teaching for over 20 years.
