Yarn Bowl hand thrown stoneware Rainbow Trout turquoise knitting crochet

   Hand thrown yarn, crochet and/or knitting bowl. My overall designs are pretty simple, a nice big bowl with a clean, smooth swirly loop for the yarn. I size them a little larger then the norm to help hold larger balls of yarn if necessary.

   The Rainbow Trout glaze combination brings together all shades of green, reflecting an array of dimensions within the color spectrum. The over-glaze pours across the forest green surface, portraying a lighter green metallic finish. A network of fine crackling can be seen on the top portion of this heavily glassed glaze, this occurrence is called crazing and only adds to the character and depth to the already intricate glaze. Also as you look closer you can see the crystal growth that also occurs with this glaze.

   All glaze combinations are Dishwasher Safe, Microwave Safe and Lead-Free.
